Not a misprint - today at Mecum in Kissimmee a 1998 Carrera S with 259 miles sold for $231,000! Here is a link. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-36...911-carrera-s/

And this one just sold for $206,000! But it was "high mileage" - 3000 miles. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-35...911-carrera-s/

So at $231k, anyone know what seller would net?
That car has been for sale for a long time at prices of "TBD," $240k, and $200k, perhaps among others.

Typically Mecum charges the seller 10% plus a listing fee of about $1000, so the seller neted about $207,000 on a sale price of $231,000. Not a bad payday!

Good money, but given that the car is basically undriven it should be looked at as an investment.
If the money were invested in the NYSE the last 20 years the return should have been far far bigger!
And remember, You never get the houers back that Your Porsche is parked in the Garage!
Lovely car bad investment for the last 20 years!
