The Porsche part number only exists after the raw casting has been machined. That's why the numbers never match up. Porsche will/can/does (ex.) turn a single casting into five different variations all with different part numbers.

Aha, of course. As a (former) Mech Eng'r, that should have dawned on me.

Now I just need a front wheel bearing to fail, so I can justify buying these.
