What's your 2019 993 New Year's Resolution?
With 2019 quickly approaching and in some parts of the world, already arriving, what is everyone's New Year's Resolutions for their 993?
I personally hope to drive mine more and do more work myself. My main goal is like my people's resolution, weight loss. Not for me but for my car, I hope to remove about 100 pounds from stock weight.
Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you all reach your goals!

If I could become half as good at 993 photography, Andy, I would consider that a worthy goal achieved. Always impressed by your camera work.
Kudos to a couple RLers for helping create the following New Year's image a while back.
My 2019 993-related goal's now to update Santa's sleigh to reflect "Speedy's" magnesium Speedlines (which are also thanks to RLers who made those wheels obtainable):

Replace all the exterior bulbs with the Tore LED kit I ordered yesterday, Install the morimoto retro-quik kit. Then drive the crap out of it and enjoy all the the work I put into it this year replacing the interior, sound system, brakes, suspension, seals and a plethora of other updates.

Personally..get back in shape, start riding the bicycle seriously again...start racing again, and turning back...or slowing down the hands of time. Watch my daughter go off to her college of choice...private out of State(gulp!)
Car wise...after “investing” just over $12k in the 993 last year, drive the **** out of it. Be successful finding my next holy grail older DD, the Focus RS continues to disappoint. If I didn’t know it was AWD, I‘d swear it was simply an overpowered FWD hatch.
Anyone wanna help me with the DD search...find me a relatively low mile B6, or B7(preferred)S4 Avant 6MT, colors other than black, silver, or white preferred. Plenty in the market at the moment surprisingly, most with mid 100k miles.
Happy New Year you inglorious Bastards!

I’ve been accruing parts over the fall and winter in anticipation of doing some refreshing in the spring. New head unit, OEM speakers, deck lid shocks, rotors, pads, wear sensors, Cup 2s, center caps, tires, and maybe some Koni’s with the M033 springs if I feel crazy. Looking forward to a great spring/summer of driving! Hope everyone is safe and enjoying the new year!
