Interesting concept, but completely un-Singer in styling. IMO they went way too far to modernize and the car ends up looking like a hotrodded New Beetle.

I’d rather have my old stock ‘66 black/red Beetle than this mongrel.

With the frenched in headlight/taillights and bulges on hood and trunk, looks fat.

I agree. If I drove a bug.. this would be my choice.

My '66 Beetle, circa 1982. I was 13 or so when my father presented this rusted example to me.

My first car was a $500 1970 bug - rusted pos that caught fire once or twice. Got me into German air cooled cars though. Got a '67 a few years after that I modified the heck out of (1776, webers, lowered, shaved handles, welded all trim holes closed, etc). Good times
