Yawn. Shock horror- someone thinks the latest 911 isn't as good as the one it replaced. History repeats itself- same was said for 964, 993, 996 etc. Snoozefest. Zzzzzzzz

there are a boatload of people on multiple sites barfing over the new stupidly hideous and more stupidly expensive 992
Porsche is loving the idiots that are throwing down their money

OMG. You actually don't get it. That's the point- people just don't like new. Give it a few years and the 992 will be loved and the 994 or whatever that replaces it will be considered heresy. Just like the 996 was. I'm unsubscribing now and going back to sleep.

You guys are going to love or hate my project. Subaru STi engine with turbo and water cooled intercooler, twin intercooled intake manifold, dry sump, 997.1 GT3 transmission with GT Gears, 9/12 x 18 BBS E88s, NT-01s, 997 TT calipers 6/4, 350mm GiroDisc rotors, 968 spindles and arms, Koni double adjustable coil-overs, Cartek solid state electrical, CAE shifter, etc. Working on 550hp on 2100 pounds. Just because. Flame On!

Huh....it all actually sounded pretty cool until I saw that front. Not sure about that. Can it be integrated better with the lines if the car?

Three Wheelin'
darkstar's build deserves its own thread
the 992 is hideous
the 996 is still evil and always will be
...and none of this belongs in the 993 forum.

I was not sure where to put a build on Rennlist or if it would be accepted. Only commented here because of the Beetle content.
Gavonder I have the same same issue the 934 did. I have three radiators to feed air up front. Two side large liquid intercooler radiators and a center radiator for engine cooling. In keeping with my Porsche upbringing this led immediately to the TRE wide 934 nose. It will move up as I continue to do the fiberglass work on the nose.

I am also an aircooled guy. This is the Remmele billet heads, Nickies cylinders, billet manifolds and Pieper throttle bodies 2.6L T4 going in my Meyers Manx #85/100. The STi with intercooled intake is behind it. Now I promise I will step away from 993...
