Default 993c2s - took out some more of the enemy!

Recently made a a thread where my car (1998 993c2s) weighed in at 2959lbs (RS clutch & flywheel, bbs e88, RS door panels)
Then took out the back seat & rear interior. Car weighed in at 2900.
Installed Recaro Pole Positions weighing 27lbs w/ sliders/brackets and removed the 997 GT3 manual sport seats which weighed 51lbs (less than what I’ve seen listed online). Car weighed in a 2833lbs w/
just over half a tank

Had Danny @ Minicorsa adjust some more things. We raised the car slightly to let the suspension work better. It’s on kw v3. And ready for Buttonwillow w/ Speed District on Nov 30th. Hoping get my time down and break 2 mins. Best being 2:00:9 (cw13) running Re71R tires on the KW v3.

Also 997gt3 seats for sale. Asking 2500

I put the same 997 GT3 seats in my 993. Simply the most comfortable, fantastic seats I've ever experienced on any car.

Right on! Did you do heater blower delete and muffler delete? You're getting down to the nitty gritty and I fully endorse it!

i know, I know.
When I would borrow his 964 w/ pole positions my low back would hurt sometimes and I don’t have any low back problems ever. So was hesitant. Moved the pads around a bit and have been fine. Although nobody has paid replacements. Recaro doesn’t sell them in leather or Alcantara.

Recaro sells the Perlon fabric pad inserts. Have a interior shop do them up in a cool fabric or suede or re-purpose yours
