IMHO, there's nothing wrong with openly flipping a car because you wanna make a quick buck.

The sleazy part comes with the fake BS lies about oh my knees hit the dash, oh it's too tough to use etc etc. to pretend that's why you're doing the quick money flip

Any buyer with half a brain would google the VIN and find the previous FS thread. And compare that to the half-truths and innuendos in the CL ad. Hey Ed, WWJD?

It's a big world. All it takes is one person to want to buy.
The challenge is many insurance and banks are going to require an appraisal for the car. With history, it may come back not the way buyers/seller need.

Wow, some people just coast through life without any self-consciousness. You'd think with the free exposure, he'd pop for a membership here.

^ 100% agree

@MrEd you're coming across like a stereotypical giant-plaid jacket pompadoured used car salesman

Who wouldn't want a 60k mile worn out Ferrari with a ton of paint work? We'll see. The unsolicited offers have ranged from $45-55k and of course I accepted the higher ones and the first time exotic buyers have struggled to find the money afterward. No big rush but wouldn't mind moving on.
It sounds like you've already lined up an RWB build for it, Ed. Keep the RS - RWB it and make some videos!

Mr. Ed set the record for driving across the US in a tick under 29 hours. Looking to set a similar record for flipping a 993. GLWS.

What do the rennlist experts think it is worth...asking for a friend. 45-50k? I can't imagine much more than that.
