Default My '95 C2 has arrived

Many of you may have read my thread about how RL is like a family. In that post I lay out finding, testing driving and purchasing a 1995 C2 in Kansas with the help of a fellow RL'er.

Well the car has finally arrived so I thought I would share a few details.

1995 C2
Black/Black
Manual
42,900 miles
Not perfect yet, needs a lot of deferred maintenance and some paint correction. But it's a solid car.

Congrats and that sure is purdy.

I'm thinking a 993 may be my next Porsche.

Congrats! Get some historic plates on that 993 ASAP.

No need to get any state inspections.... ask me how I know

Welcome!

A warning though, there are a lot of 993 dorks in the area....................

Best,

Paul

Hope you find my guidance helpful during this long search. She looks beautiful but just wait until you get paint correction done. Nothing shines like a properly polished black car. Looking forward to do some driving with you and the rest of the local hooligans

Great looking 993. It's like a clean easel just waiting for you to hit the slippery slope. IMHO, black is the best color for 993s. When freshly washed and waxed they are beautiful. However.... they are so much effort to keep clean. Black shows everything. Enjoy!!

Hello, Glad to see it in your driveway, enjoyed meeting you and glad that the report I did helped.
The day looking at the car, getting barbecue, drinking local beer at Boulevard and finally at the retro modern shop was fun.
All the best, Ill let you know if I buy the the other 993, having to think about it as getting a third one means having to sell one of them, what a problem to have.
Again pleasure meeting you
Regards
John

John,

Not sure if you attend any of our club events, but we would love to see more 993’s at our Saturday breakfasts. PM me if interested.

Nice! If the motor mounts have not been replaced, that’s the first mod I would do. Congrats!
