New Owner Intro
Hello everyone - long time Porsche enthusiast, have owned 914/944/986s/991s but am excited to announce I have come full circle back to the air cooled world after picking up this 97 C2S
Was extremely stock when purchased except for stereo but have done some freshening up upon receipt:
M033 springs
Koni Actives
Tint
Fender film
Porsche Classic Radio
I'll post more pictures once I am able to wash it (dont zoom in!) , of course it rained on way home from film shop so can't mess with it for a few days. The forum has been a ton of help in the shopping and research phase, looking forward to the participation phase now!

Welcome to the madness. Beautiful car. White 993s are one of my favorite colors. Here is a thread you may enjoy;

Great car, great story.
Curious, where did you buy it and how long was your search? Miles?
Enjoy!

I bought the car in San Jose with the help of RRS - great people to work with!
I had been looking for about 6-8 months and specifically wanted a higher mileage white or black C2S with black (non-supple leather) interior with minimal/no mods outside of perhaps suspension... they knew of just the right car and although it wasn't technically on the market we were able to ultimately get a deal done
Car has just under 80k miles but is surprisingly clean given that - even the wheel wells crisp glacier white and not a spec of rust or corrosion on the underside, had a PPI done at Rosellis and was able to see on lift before pulling trigger. Also a great shop if anyone looking to get work done in the San Jose area.

Glacier White is a great color on a 993-it might be my first choice.
Enjoy!

White - A great shade for a 911, a classic German car color! Do not seem to see too many in white. Is white really a color or just a shade, I'm confused now...

Well I have almost 1k miles on it and have worked through some beginner issues - pressed trip odometer while moving learned all about / mastered the ODB2 test drive to pass inspection and finally spent about 2 weeks ordering a new key/fob/programming.. good news is it all worked out and I am simply loving it - here are some recent pics post wash!
