My 993 family.
Had the opportunity to finally take a few shots of my C2S, C4S and Carrera (all 6 speed as I like them a bit old school) all in the one spot together. Have been a 993 addict for many years and as I am now winding down on work I hope to be able to create more memories with these little jewels both with my father and my children. Am in the process of finally getting a garage sorted so they can actually all stay together and. I can pull a glass whiskey out and just stare at them thinking where to next drive them. The dream used to be to one day add a turbo and an RS to the fold but with prices still stupid this may be a fair way off... If ever it happens. Hope you all enjoy the pictures. Cheers.

Nice! I see WA plates. My home town. Which part of WA is this? Sadly I'm stuck in Nashville now but miss those blue skies and the awkward sandgroper's desire of planting those damn palm trees everywhere.

Harold, you have to be one of the longest-running members here who still posts, along with 993RS aka Phil and Martin S. Thanks for sharing.

Hate to tell ya, but there are palm trees in the background- I doubt he's in Washington state.
WA = Western Australia. Sandgroper = aussie slang for a Western Australian People in WA have this terrible habit of putting crappy palm trees everywhere as "landscaping". Hence I was referring to those palm trees in the background. I grew up in that state and spent more than 2 decades there. When I hear WA I think Western Australia, not Washington state. |
Harold,
Great group of 993s. I've been all over the world and would settle down in Australia if ever there was a need to move overseas. My wife & I have very fond memories after spending three weeks there in 2001. Andreas |
