Default TPC SUPERCHARGER & PROMOTIVE TUNE , NEED INPUT ON FUEL INJECTORS PLEASE

I was told that the Sieman Deka 60 injectors are somewhat decent. However, i did a little research and found they are not quite as good as the Bosch injectors.

Anyone with a Promotive tune care to chime in with recommendation and p/n's?

I used EV1 36lb injectors - I think the brand was Viper - I'll check when I get home later.
36lb rated to match around 13-14 psi. Stock TPC pulley runs 6psi max.
To get the right fueling we added a 4.5lb FPR. AFR was great after that.

Todd sold these - they where used on his 964 stage 2 kits.
Price back then in 2011 was $490 a set.

In hindsight - I'd just go bosch turbo units. Not that I had problems with the units I used for over 5 years.
Piece of mind, reliability, and you can resell later on.

Turbo injectors are about $127 bucks each x 6 = $762. That's not bad.
Once you got them - Todd can get a good tune for you.

Venom injectors. Hehehehe - looks like reviews are bad and good.
I didn't have issues with them.
Good luck with your install.

Boxster/997 #0280158116 (Bosch) flow around 50% more than originals - plenty of margin for s/c requirement. More modern efficient design, fit straight in, same connector.

Those are much more reasonable priced than the 993 turbo injectors.

30 each vs 130 each

When I started my quest I was also looking at 993 turbo injectors but price aside my tuner told me that I would be buying 20-year old injectors with a 20-year old design!

So... where did this end up? Sounds like the 'best' plan for a TPC supercharger install is to dump the 7th injector, go with oversized Boxster /997 injectors instead, dump the split second box and get a Protomotive tune. Any view on the pulley?

How does the tune at Protomotive work- do they need to see the vehicle in person or do you send them the ECU with a list of the mods?

Per WD's previous post, I believe promotive needs to see various data logging results, in order to accurately/adequately burn a chip.

I'm using Unichip piggy back with 993 Turbo injectors.

Going to do a Protomotive tune over the winter.

I remember the smiles that the SC put on my face. Great upgrade.
Mine came off when I went back to stock and did a top end rebuild.
It's sitting on the shelf doing nothing. Maybe destined to be reinstalled one day.
But if anyone is interesting in buying one - pm me.

Todd said they should work, he was looking for 36 lb injectors. I can upgrade to a adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get the extra.

I am still in a hold patern. With OBD1, I am having trouble with finding a data logging option.
