would a 4.0 GT3 motor and PDK box fit in a 993?

I was once offered a 993 turbo motor for my cab, installed 25k Euro. I passed but struggled for a while. Good thing the wife's car has twice the hp of the 993 so I can satisfy any speeding needs if I want to.

just thinking - wouldn't it be much easier to stick with a manual trans?? that said, this idea is intriguing - especially from the 4.0 standpoint.
I always wish that 964s and 993s had more power - something in the 350-380 range is what I always think would make for an amazing car.

was thinking about a new RSR clone project and how a new 4.0 PDK donor would be a blast in it. I've spoken to a few shops, and all were a little bit unsure. Manual would be easier, but whats the fun in that....I want full Frankenstein.

If you want a full Frankenstein, google letters R, W and B. Together, Talking about Frankensteins...

The PDK requires inputs from other parts & control units of the car which are not present in the 993 and this may require major software changes, too.
A Tip would work, tho its not the same thing.

hahah to expand on mooty’s comment ...you could say a GT3 motor isn’t an aircooled so just send the motor to Ed Pink or something of that caliber to build an aircooled 4.0. Then you don’t have to worry about trying to make it all work.
