Default My new toy

I picked up a boxster S to avoid beating up my 993 at the track. I didn't buy it for the color... promise...it was just the right price. The boxster looks big😐Name: photo178.jpg

for 5-10k those are great value. I picked up cayman to turn into track car, but a few times I drove it on the street it was lots of fun. I can see why 987/997 people make fun of us...

2001 Boxster S 58k miles. The only mod when I bought it was the IMS upgrade and exhaust.

I added the 996 gauges to add oil pressure and volt gauges. I've also installed poly motor & transmission mounts.

Bought the BK add on bar to help with tech, installing a race seat, and a 2nd set of rims/tires.

Looking for suspension stuff now.

Good choice! My daily is a 2013 Boxster. A whole different kind of fun...

Modern yellow mid-engine Porsches are THE BEST! And, yes, the smallest new Porsche is down-right big compared to our cars. My son, when he got in the 993 the other day said "this so much smaller than your other car."

Enjoy!

Thank you. If I wasn't up to 3 Porsche's, I would add a 981 Boxster. I'm not gonna lie... I prefer a yellow Porsche.

Gotta love Speed Yellow!

My choices are similar with a slightly different flavor:
