Here's what I'd do:
(1) Sell the Saab and buy a Porsche 993, preferably a C4S.
(2) Test the a/c on the 993.
(3) If the a/c doesn't work on the 993, join a Saab forum and have your first post be a question about the a/c in the Porsche.
