Default Very Low power after bypass

Hi Rennfolks,
Just had a five-way heart bypass, home now but I can tell you unlike clearing the air injector passages on the 993 one will suffer very low power and poor performance after the upgrade during the recovery period.

Hi Andy,

Well, you are past the hardest part, the problem diagnosis and correction. Too many try to deny that they are having heart problems, and wait too long, too much damage is already done for a good outcome. Best wishes in your recovery!

Intake and exhaust will get stronger, and eventually power will return. Hang in there, Andy!

That is one tough surgery Andy. In time, you'll be back to better than before. Hang tough and feel better.

I had valve replacement surgery ten years ago. I was ordered to walk everyday after being released from the hospital and initially it was pretty hard. After about five weeks I really improved. One day when out walking I walked up a hill that had been giving me trouble without stopping. My mind was elsewhere at the time and after coming over the crest of the hill it suddenly hit me, I didn't stop today, hallelujah! I also read Vic Elford's autobiography when recovering, it was inspiring and a great escape.
Get well soon.

The most important thing at this point is to focus on your recovery.

Patience is a virtue! Take your time, don't push the recovery. Exercise modestly, and above all continue to share your knowledge of these wonderful Porsches with your friends on the 'list......

Andy,
After they cleared intake and exhaust, did you have them fit a supercharger?
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
