I think the photography made a big impact. Sounds silly, but in a long distance auction the buyers imagination of what the car will be like is one of the most important factors.

The dealer might be a factor too. From the railroad cars in the background, looks like it might be the same dealer that sold the White C2S back in Feb for $112K ($117K w/commission).

i really thought this car would bring 400k, but also wondered if someone would buy at that price on BaT. this might be something that gets negotiated afterwards, depending on the reserve.

Still plenty of time on the clock. But I have also noticed that BAT doesn't really bring the really big money buyers.

No. Prices on these have been on the decline. I say $350 - $380K.
