993 RS Sports steering wheels
Hi,
I have this option in my RS: M018 SPORTS STEERING WHEEL WITH ELEVATED HUB 30MM
The problem I have my long leg and I touch the steering wheels...
What is the solution? Cup/GT2 steering wheel? whats your advice?
Thanks

I presume you mean your knees touch the steering wheel (ditto). Until I fitted an eccentric spacer + 30mm spacer but i did fit the 930turbo/968 CS wheel (Atiwe) which has chunkier grip same diameter as RS (Momo). You can get the eccentrics for Momo or Atiwe wheels.

The RS wheel should already have an essentric. If not you can add one as already suggested. I still needed more room for my knees so added a second essentric. I’m not crazy about it so thinking about just adding a 1/2 inch spacer.
Also if you haven’t already, moving the seat to the aft holes may help too.

I’m 6’ 4” and drive with cup steering wheels in my 964 and my 993. The cup wheel is perfect for us taller drivers. The outer diameter of the RS steering wheel is 360mm. The cup steering wheel is a narrower 350mm. Also importantly, the cup wheel’s hub extends the wheel several inches closer to the driver AND the wheel itself protrudes another few inches closer to the driver. The more the wheel extends towards the driver, the less likely it is that your legs will bump into the steering wheel. http://www.carnewal.com/products/986...-Wheel-993-996
