Laminated airbag crest in silver(not)
Just exchanged emails with the guy who fabricates and sells a plastic laminated(safe) airbag crest on eBay. Asked him if he would be willing to produce a silver one and mentioned likelyhood of large group buy based on interest here from previous threads.
He replied that he couldn't because Porsche would come after him for copyright violation. Not clear to me how he can produce/sell a standard gold crest then. Any lawyers in the house who can explain this?

I don't believe he is making them. I am certain that he is purchasing them from someone. I asked him months ago if he would be willing to sell them on this board. He did not reply. I am at a complete loss as to why anyone would pay over $40 for a little piece of plastic. When I posed this question to him he came unglued and spoke of his high expense in producing said piece of plastic. Turn the wolves loose I would like to see this guy disapear. Then again if someone is dumb enough to pay him the $40 bucks?

i bought one of the plastic crests for $25 (when he first started selling them). I DO NOT RECOMMEND these stickers. That's essentially what it is - a sticker. Don't waste your time or money - i went ahead and got one of the silver ones for $45 on ebay and it looks great...
