After almost exactly 12 years of ownership, my beautiful Midnight Blue C2 coupe left my ownership. Life changes as they say so one of my 993s had to go. The blue 95 was a car I promised myself I'd NEVER sell.......never say never. It's been gone about a month now and it's finally sunk in that the space in the garage where it rested wouldn't be filled with the same car again. Congrats to new owner David, I hope you thoroughly enjoy the car as much as I did. Currently feeling sorry for myself with only one 911 currently with me, my black 97 993 C2 coupe, down from as many as 3 a few years ago. Priorities change and such, but the 95 will be dearly missed.

Sorry to see your '95 has moved on, but at least you still have your '97 to assuage any feelings of loss.

Glad to see you around here, Tim. Hope this message, other than the sale of your '95, finds you happy and well

Congrats, I suppose? Hope you got the $135k for her. She's a beauty!

That's too bad, Tim... I thought this might be apropos.

Sorry to see this, Tim, but happy you still have the other one.

Understatement: David is a lucky new owner.

Tim-- Your texts & calls the last 2 years have been a highlight. Shout when rolling toward me again - witness the Speedlines in person that you asked about. See ya down the road, my friend.

Both beautiful, Tim, but your black's become priceless with family memories.
Maybe it's a future heirloom...

Now I know the 993 can take four 6' passengers, two hockey sticks, and a pair of crutches not to mention two hockey bags and a back pack up front.

Just got time to come back to this.

-The car did not quite reach the price asked in my signature. Let's just say that I thought the "market" was still strong. It is. The interest in the car from the ad placed in AutoTRADER is still surprising me.
-Ryan (Cactapotimus), the blue car was sold because it had become a true garage queen to me. I rarely drove it anymore instead just (over)cleaning it and staring at it. The black car was and still is my "driver" and as Jaeger alluded to in his post, a driver that has some very fond memories and experiences in it's near 10 years with me.
-Andres, yes a 996 is replacing it. 2000 C4 Tip Cabriolet in PTS Seppia Brown with Nephite Green interior. She's a looker for sure.

-Quad.......special award for attempting to turn a well thought out and intentioned post by someone I consider a true friend into something awkward. From reading your posts over the past decade, I take your often confrontational posts with a grain of salt. My gut feeling is you're a decent and obviously knowledgeable individual who enjoys "stirring the pot". And in all fairness this attitude has resulted in some much needed humour. Let's just say that Jäger understands and has been supportive of personal matters that go way beyond this car-based forum. As with a few individuals here, someone who has given food for thought when times may have been less than perfect. Sometimes a perspective from someone well removed from one's daily life can be very helpful.

Double post.......I see posting from iPad hasn't gotten any easier over the last few years. But then I am but a simple man.

Also noting that my post prior to this has some misspelled names in it. Those individuals won't be bothered because they know I know how to spell their respective names.
