Default Piston Ring Gap

Would anyone know where to obtain and who publishes the correct specifications for piston ring gap when installing new rings. I have a 964 video which just shows the Goetze Rings out of the box going on the pistons. Other information sources seem to indicate that one needs to make sure there is a proper gap on all the rings.

If you go to www.google.com and type in "porsche 993 piston ring gap" it's the first result.

The proper ring end gap is a function of the total circumference of the cylinder, ie not the same application for every engine. Very good info is on the Mahle website.
