Default NB 18' wheels ET 50 or 52? Help please

I am looking at a set of twists on ebay that are as follows:

front ET 50 99336213406 7.5x18
rear ET 65 99336214004 10x18

I have searched for the last hour or so and have come to the conclusion that the rears are NB turbo twists (solid spoke) and the fronts are not (Boxster I believe), however I cannot seem to work out whether or not an ET of 50 will be alright on the front.

Also, the rears have 295/30's on, will these will be too wide for a NB?

Any help to sort out this conundrum would be gratefully appreciated.

This thread below will clarify it for ya...

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...t=wheel+offset

The rims you are looking at could be straight from a 996. As fro 295 on the narrow body you may have to roll your fenders...

Danny

Thanks for the response, I have read and re-read the threads and all the threads linked to the thread, and am still confused (thick!).

Can anyone tell me whether these wheels will fit my NB 993. I can change the tyres on the rear if they are too wide.

TIA

Yes they will... Not sure about the 295's only.

As Danny says, they'll fit. But, not sure why you want 295's on the back. Not only that size tire doesn't fit a 10" wheel too good, but it also will not benefit you anything. Also, I wouldn't want a 7.5" front wheel. That's a bit too narrow for a 225. Especially, if you really want the 295 in the back. I wouldn't buy anything with such compromises just because it's a good deal.

Danny, Thanks

Viken, Thanks for responding, I was more interested in the alloys, you are right 7.5 up front is too skinny. I'll just keep looking.
