Default Newbie saying hello

Had an opportunity to buy my Dad's 993 C4S and couldn't pass it up. He's been a long 911 owner and is downsizing his collection. Just thought I'd introduce myself. The car came with an aero kit spoiler that I thought I would install but have since decided not to. Plan to sell it but would love some insight into how much I should ask?

Thanks all.

Jason

Yeah, the guys are probably gonna need a bit more info on the car before coming up with a “What’s It Worth” response. Like model year.....

Cap, I think he's just selling the aero kit spoiler and trying to find the price.

OP, sorry I have no idea what it's worth, but that's a nice C4S! Enjoy it in good health and welcome to Rennlist

Nice car,
If the rear spoiler is a new unpainted OE part with the grill insert I suspect it is worth $1000 or so. A great item to sell on eBay with a reserve price of $999 + shipping. Don't expect it to sell very quickly.
If it is a painted used part without damage it will have a similar value as some prefer a prepainted body part as it will not have surface imperfections or adhesion issues that come with painting a new unused part.
If it is an aftermarket part it will sell for a good bit less, say $500 if you are willing to wait.

Just my thoughts as anyone who is contemplating purchasing this item still needs to paint and mount it and also may be looking for the matching Aero front splitters so using it is not an inexpensive contemplation.
Andy

Post some pictures of the spoiler. If it is TRUE OEM PORSCHE it will be marked on the underside of the decklid. Here is a pic of my OEM Turbo S Spoiler. Turbo S or Regular Turbo. Turbo S Spolier will bring $3,500 Easily. Have seen them sell as high as $4,500.

Thanks everyone.

I'll post some pics shortly... the car is going through a detail right now as it has been sitting in a garage for quite some time. The clear bra was replaced 15 years ago so I'm having it removed and new one installed. The car has 75k miles on it and is in excellent driver quality condition. Suspension and exhaust have been upgraded with Fikse FM5 wheels.

As for the spoiler I believe it to be OEM and it has been painted. I'll check the markings on it to confirm and post pics as well.

Yeah a lot of reproductions out there. OEM vs Aftermarket are 2 vastly different prices.

I can’t find any markings from the factory. However I do have a receipt from the body shop from when it was painted 15 years ago. My dad said the previous owner said it was OEM just not sure how to prove it. It’s in great condition but does show signs of wear with a couple nicks. Im still looking to sell it but I might put it up in the marketplace first.

Doesn't look to be the Aero Kit spoiler. Looks more like a T-Tray Turbo spoiler,
