So i pulled out my CCU to replace a couple of burnt out lightbulbs and after pulling it out i was looking back inside the dash and saw this curved black tube (looks like a connector) and a thin white hose. It looks like the white hose goes in the black curved connector. Can someone tell me what this is for? Thanks.
Haven't been there yet but my guess would be vacuum line for the recirc valve for the HVAC system. Mine came loose at the other end.
That is correct.
The small white tube needs to be plugged into the black elbow shaped tube. Right now, you have a vacuum leak and your recirc flap will not operate correctly.
