1998 993 C2S w/18,000 miles. Interested in trade for very early 911
Hello, I own a #1 1998 C2S in Ocean Blue with Cashmere interior. All documents, tools, keys, COA, Bill of Sale, air pump, and maintenance records. Was purchased from Classic Porsche in Eastchester New York. I am a vintage Porsche collector and am looking for an equal condition early 911. All my cars are in #1 condition, stored in heated/AC garage, covered, on lifts, and maintained to the absolute highest level. I am not interested in anything less than perfect unless it is an example that has great history and/or provenance.
It currently sits on the original 17’s. There is not one scratch, door ding, or curb rash. Interior looks brand new and there are zero scratches under front and rear spoilers.
I have ave many photos for serious inquires.

Wow, beautiful!
I have a very early build 1997 C2S with 197,000 miles on the odometer I'd reluctantly let go for your car, with such low miles yours will have to be sorted out, mine is ready to drive cross country; seems like a fair trade to me
In all seriousness, good luck with the trade, the early long hoods are beautiful

Thank you. You got it right! They were meant to be driven. Hope the almost 200,000 miles were all by you. I do use my vintages Porsche’s regularly. They are all inspected, registered, and run regularly. I have a 59 356A Convertible D, 68 Golden Green 912, and a 70 914-6.
Good day.
Good day.

Thought I would ping you with the following possible trade. Since my purchase from LBI and the restoration I have spent approx another 15,000 sorting this car to perfection including rebuild of carbs and trans, engine re seal, refinished gauges, new oem windshield, new oem door pockets and a host of minor items. Perfection in every respect, absolute 1 condition.

Let me know if interested and we can talk more, I have the car at my home in Palm Springs.

Thank you Larry. I went through the link and all the photo's. She is quite beautiful. I also have air in my 912. It was a dealer installed option. Unfortunately, I prefer the coupe with regards to adding a new car to my small collection. I had a 91 964 Targa and loved it and also have a 914-6 Targa which is great fun.

I understand. I very rarely part with any of my cars. I have a 59 Convertible D in Ivory with red. It’s my love as I was born in 59. My wife had suggested another 356cab as we did two rally’s last year and I left the D at home. Would love to see some photo’s.

Given the scarcity of SWB 911's of the type/condition you want, it's probably not realistic you're going to find someone who wants to trade for a 993. Barter economy was abandoned thousands of years ago for precisely this problem (the rarity of simultaneous coincidence of wants). Might consider trading the 993 for money, and trading the money for a SWB. Beautiful car BTW.
