Default 993c2s @ Autoclub Speedway

had some fun @ Autoclub Speedway w/ Speed District. Took my 98 C2S. Nothing super fast but ok times. Ran a ton of 1:56 Laps. Cars on kw v3 & re71r tires. Taking the roval is frickin amazing in this car. Would get to mid 130s, a very short lift off throttle, turn in and gas pedal on the floor through the whole roval. Prob didn’t even need that lift on turn in. Maybe next time ill grow some and give it a go.

How was the experience with speed district?
Gentlemanly passing with point by, or open passing?
Reasonable separation of skill level by run groups?
Did you feel "confident" in the other participants awareness / skills?

Asking because I typically only run with local PCA / POC because I trust them.

thanks

after Running almost all tbe SoCal groups, Speed District is all I run. Mooty, CJ ichiban, and many others on here have run with them.

They run begginer, intermediate and advance. Advance is open passing. Think begginer is only on main straight with point by, and intermediate is point by only (I believe, but don’t quote me).
Great group. Not many cars and tons of track time.

Right on. Thanks for sharing. That must have been a blast. Same track Jay Leno almost lost it in this Carerra GT. Been to a couple of NASCAR races in Fontana when I lived in San Diego. Miss living out there. Car driving season any time of the year...... Keep it up..
