I have replaced my CCU re-circulation/defrost switch because of a lamp failure. The new (genuine) switch has no illumination at all. It's not the CCU as exchanging the new switch back to old restores the illumination feature. I read somewhere that the replacement switches use LEDS. If true, and not a rumor, could this be the problem? I'm not able to test the new switch illumination out of the car as I don't know the pinout configuration of the switch. Anybody out there have that info or any other thoughts on this problem?
