Does the CR1 radio with a code have any value?

Prices on Ebay vary from 400-1k+ Just a reference point.

IMHO, you want to look for SOLD prices for the radio on eBay; not listed prices. Asking/listing prices are meaningless.

Seems like they have value, can't understand why?

Can someone explain why they have value?

Does Porsche still manufacture and distribute this radio in its current form?

I think you have your answer.

I believe a lot of folk want to get their Porsche back to OEM. IMHO, an aftermarket radio just doesn't look right in the 993. I don't need or want great audio or blue tooth in my Porsche. Fister III, sure.

I recently sold an old radio from my previous 1990 964 and it went for $450. Just a datapoint...
