993 C4S - BBS LM Confusion
Gang
I have read for the last 2 hours about offsets, wheels/tire sizes, and I am still confused what I need to order for my car. I plan on lowering the car either through springs or Bilstein B6/Spring setup.
I am trying to achieve this look (I think is 19 LMs). Please help with
1) wheel size
2) tire size,
3) offset
Any places you recommend me purchasing would be appreciated.

I think I recall there was a thread about that exact car. Search for 19” BBS LM or something similar in this forum. Since that car is a narrow body, you could probably replicate that exact setup but subtract 15-20mm from the rear wheel offset to make it more suitable for WB car, like your C4S.
One of the wheel shops might chime in and give you more specific help about what sizing options are available from BBS, vs customizing a set just for your specs.

That is the car that made me buy a 993. He used 19" 996 specs. The rear is 19x10 don't remember what the front is (probably 8.5). Get your flame suit on. Everyone on here will advocate going 18's instead. I love the look of that car so I know what your thinking. He did polish the lips and can't tell, but he may have reverse mounted cause the lips look deeper than normal in the rear. I am a fan of more rim less tires which is not the norm around here. It does have negatives though so keep that in mind. 19's are heavier and ride rougher plus tires are more $. Also the 993 was never designed for such a large rim. May wear out suspension quicker and will definitely be slower. The look though is stellar in my opinion.

Rennlister FoudeS has 19" reverse mounted LM's on his beautiful C4S - 8.5x19 ET56 front and 11x19 ET56 rear (AFAIK) before reverse mounting. Reverse mounting the centers lowers the ET by ~15mm. I would personally go with the 8" front to provide a little more room. Not sure what tire specs he runs but you need to be careful to maintain the stock front/rear diameter differential in order to keep the AWD / viscous coupler happy.
P-daddy is right, Knight nailed it with his 18" LM specs.
You may also want to consider adjustable coil overs such as PSS10 or KW Variants to enable you dial in the ride height.

Looks good, but, with so much wheel and so little tire and sidewall, doesn't that ride like an Abrams tank?
Maybe no potholes or crappy road surfaces in Atlanta, but elsewhere, reality. I blew 4-tires- sidewalls ballooned and 2-exploded- and 2-wheels bent- on my 335i last winter in Portland after going through 2-unseen potholes on rainy nights. Only salvation, not in the C4S.

If its for a C4S widebody, be mindful as the only way to get close the proper offsets in the rear (18x11 et40 295/30 is perfect in my opinion) is to reverse mount the faces, as mentioned here. A 15-20MM bolt on spacer/adaptor will not work as there are no pockets behind the hub face to accommodate the lugs. Ask me how I know... lost a lot of hair a few years back trying to get the perfect fit for BBS LM's on a widebody car. In my opinion, they are just not designed to properly fit the widebodies. I will caveat this to the 18inch wheel options only, dont know about 19's.

18's work well on a C4S when reverse mounted (original 18x8.5/11 both et56, around et41 when reverse mounted)
no spacers

What does reverse mounted mean? The face turned around? Or ...
