Thanks for the offer, but if the PPI goes well on Thursday I have arrainged to have it shipped. Very reasonable, Buffalo area outfit who should know how to drive in the snow (we had 20+ inches yesterday) and no added miles on the car.
On the other hand-if you need company on some twisties in the White Mountains next summer give me a holler. By the way, how does the C4 compare to the 944 on the mountain roads?
Thanks very much for the offer.

At one point I owned both the '97 993 and a '93 RS America...the 993 is far more car than the 964-series car could ever be. Not that the RSA wasn't lots of fun...but I only own one now and I'll let you guess which one it is!

Yes I find that interesting also. My friend bought a 96 9934S yesterday and I drove it just a bit. I really liked it, but it was the first time I drove a 993 and was surprised how light everything was (clutch and steering). I think the 993 is a better everyday car, but for "being at one with the car" I think think the RSA is better. The car even had h&R coil overs and still felt a bit "cushy". Once again I love the car, but they are much different...and will appeal to different people. I prefer to hear the exhaust loud and feel every bump and not have any power assisted steering whether it be on the road or especially the track. I think the 993 is a more refined and a more capable car, but so is the 996 to the 993, and most (many) prefer the 993 to the 996 for driver feedback. I think the RSA is better than the 993 for that.
As for the acceleration, my RSA has the mass-flow and primary by-pass, so it is not a stock to stock comparison, but would say the RSA has the advantage until he gets a mass flow.
Either car is great and will appeal to different needs of different people. I will stay with my RSA until I can afford the 997 GT3. I plan to keep the RSA forever.
