Opening up this thread on Thanksgiving in the hope that everyone can take a moment to put everything in perspective. There are many things for most of us to be thankful for, but, however low on the relative appreciation scale this effort might be, perhaps we can be thankful that a Rennlister has taken the time to create a video on our fun cars.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving, all.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Thank you Mark. Happy Thanksgiving to my neighbours south. Just a correction to Mark's post...it's not just one video I've made..I have 60+ videos posted on my Youtube channel that I've created over the last year and a half sharing my Porsche and 993 adventures. Again, my intent is solely to bring enthusiasts along for the ride, nothing more, nothing less. I publish new videos on a weekly basis on Thursday afternoons.
In about an hour I'm posting the first part of my Tejas Treffpunkt adventure in Houston hanging out with Rudy, Darin Fister and the OG RL crew this weekend. Stay tuned....or don't..

No political comments in the tech forums, guys. And, no, it doesn't matter if they are liberal, conservative, etc.; they will be deleted. Commenting on a political post with another political statement is not helping and is, guess what, considered political.
I can't 100% know for certain what il pirata was doing, but, if he is like me, there is a high probability that he was spending time with family and/or traveling and not moderating this board, meaning just because posts are not immediately zapped or removed to someone's liking does not meant they are being condoned. Even during non-holidays, we are not spending 24/7, 365 days a year clicking every single post in a mad effort to devour every single little word since we either have businesses to run or other matters to attend to.
Lastly, one more time, if there is a post you think does not belong here, report it, please, rather than contribute to the problem. This is not rocket science here.

Hey - I'm happy to see this thread open up again. I like Jacob's 911% YouTube Channel and have a channel myself call "WhiteBoard Wednesday" where I shoot out small weekly business tips (on Wednesday ). Not everyone agrees with it but in fact I wish people would interact, for good or bad, more. It's part of opening up a dialogue. But please remember the Golden Rule. Please do unto others as you would like done to yourself.
I like to tease Jacob as a fellow Canadian (Note to America: no it doesn't snow here every day) about not driving his C4S through the winter. Canadian Tire has their own brand of snow tires "Motomaster" buddy. Bring it!

I think you need to check out what "clickbait" means..I made a video about 5 things I hate about my Porsche 993 and I titled the video just that..Where is the clickbait here? Clickbait is when the title and thumbnail elude to something else and the video doesn't deliver. Also, in today's day and age, of infinite and disposable media about everything and anything (Over 300hours of video is uploaded on average to Youtube every minute), the only way to cut through the clutter is to entice people to watch with beautiful pics and simple, catchy titles or topics - that's not "clickbait". Seems to me like a lot of people here are butthurt that I made a video that is drawing attention to these personal negatives and will somehow effect their investments?...lol.. I don't get it... Or it's true, people just love to hate, it's the easiest way.
This whole thread is great for my views, so thank you to everyone.. But it still blows my mind, that I received this type of response from my own flesh/blood fellow 993 owners and enthusiasts...nobody bats a eyelash when I post tons of content about driving or wrenching and genuinely enjoying this car though.. Goes back to what I was saying before, it's widely known globally, that the spirit around here and that essence that always brought many back for hours of reading and conversing has died a long time ago.
Thank you again to all of those who "get it" and are supportive

Question: When you do the videos, is the mic inside the car or outside? I have Fister 3's and from the inside they don't sound nearly that good. Did you make any other mods than the Fister 2's?. I especially like the crackle on over drive. I get that on my Boxster (w/PSE) and play it like an instrument, but not on the 993. Still sounds great, just different.

Don't know if this qualifies as a HATE but if you turn the car off and don't notice that the turn signal is ON, the turn signal lights stay on. Drained the battery that way once. Its a '97C2S. Do they all do that?
