Default Fister Swap?

New 200 Cell cat on the way from Germany. Anyone near San Diego want to swap your Fister Stage II’s for my Stage III’s?

You should keep the 3's! You may like the sound, tbh its perfect with sport cats.

I don't think it matters. You either use the "biscuits" or not. If you don't have the "biscuits" I think the hardware is something like $10 from Porsche.

Here's a great post on the subject:

Actually, I think they're nicknamed "donuts"... and you'll need four of them if going from a Bishoff cat to Gillet mufflers. 2 donuts to the cat, and 2 to the tips.

If you can readily find donuts at $10 each, BUY THEM!
Typically, they are anywhere from $25 to $50 ea.

I was considering swapping my ll's, but not if it's going to cost me $100 to $200, plus my labor involved. Just not worth it, IMHO. I really like my ll's!

From Bischoff cat to Gillet mufflers, no donuts necessary. From Gillet cat to Bischoff mufflers, You just need 2 donuts at the tips.

So....not surprisingly the Stage III’s are just too loud wihen combined with the new 200 cell cats so I’m on the hunt to buy a set of Stage II mufflers or swap my III’s for your II’s. There is a catch though my ceramic black OEM wide oval tips are welded on. PM if anyone is interested.

I think these will be plug and play for either bischoff and gillet systems, meaning you will not need the exhaust seal rings aka biscuits and donuts. P/n is 928-111-246-05

The rings are only needed when you have to mate the exhaust tips to the muffler. The sellers mufflers have tips that are already welded on. GLWS.
