Plus I get to row the gears and hear the howl of the flat 6 without going to jail.

How is it compared to your 964? I so want to pick one up as well. Been looking, but can't stomach the latest price increases.
Yes I’m with you. Even bored of new GT3 and everything else Yes when you’re wot they’re fun or on track but that’s about it. Did love my viper TA. Thought it was about the only exciting modern car I’ve driven or had. But to me it’s just more fun in an AC. The steering, the engine sounds, shifting, the feel of a proper rear engine just makes me smile and is always entertaining.

Very similar vs the 964. The updated rear suspension is definitely felt The butt is more planted. A tad more refined but nothing drastic.

What is it with new cars?

I think I'd totally see myself in a Giulia Quadrifoglio!

Awesome 993. Very tastefully modified. I'm obsessed with 993's and hope to get one some day. Didn't you have a 991 GTS? I too have a 991 GTS that i love and i would love to add a 993 to the stable.

Good question. Porsche should remake and old car like Singer does. I’d buy it. 🤣

Nice job and nice car...but I couldn't live with my c2s full time...it's so freakin' ancient...I mean I love it...but I love it as a secondary car. Miles and smiles as they say

Totally get it. Just don’t have fun driving anything else around. If I get another car will be a cruiser as I get no more joy driving a 3 series vs a carrera.

Looking good. Really like the euro amber rear turn signals. Have you considered putting some race seats such as a Recaro PP?

Also how do you like the 993 compared to your 991 GTS?

When driving friends cars pole positions hurt my back sometimes so prob not.

Owned the 991 a while back. Earlier in thread discussed with some others how I’m over modern cars. 991gts is great at everything. But too good. I’m just not excited to drive them. My old 964 and this 993 puts a way bigger smile on my face.

Got it. I agree with you that most modern cars are don't interest me. If i get another sports car (other than my 991 GTS) it will definitely be a 993.
