Garcia was more of a Corvair and Volvo guy. If he did own a 911, I am unaware of this. But here's a great article on topic describing Bob Weir's impressions of the new 1990 Carrera 2 Tiptronic. I dont remember if it was a 964 or not but Jerry had a black 911, he said it was the one thing he felt like spending money on rather than guitars, the Corvair and Volvo was in the sixties
