Default 993 Tiptronic from SF

Hi guys,
Spent the last 3 months lurking around the 993 forum, thought maybe its time to introduce the PCar.

Unfortunately didn't get any documentation from the previous owner

Current Plans:
- Timing chain covers (L&R) replace @95k - Done
- Plan to do the Tore HID Upgrade soon
- FTech9 DME Relay w/PumpPrime delivering today.

Plan to keep trim stock. Still on the fence about performance upgrades vs stock replacements.

Still amazed at the wealth of information on this forum.
Would be down for meet ups around the Bay.

The only thing that annoys me are the cassette holder slots in the CD equipped Radio.

Thanks for the comments.

Got the DME w/PumpPrime. My resistance is wavering already. (Could have gone OEM)

100k service coming up quick. So will start the strategizing right after.

No, I literally just removed the cassette holders and put a plastic tray under to catch any drips from the drinks. Works pretty well for my grande ice coffee....

Default Becker/Porsche CDR-210 993 production...

Welcome to 993 ownership -
Question; Your coupe is a MY96 in Polar Silver metallic exterior? The coupe is shown fitted with Cup II 17 inch wheels, possibly the Cup IIs are a component of the optional M032 Touring Suspension? Either/Or .. coupe looks great. Uber original !

I'd encourage taking a close look at enhancing the coupe's 20yo stereo with a DSP filtering/aux input, BT, module; System introduced after the CDR-210 leaving the valuable (unmolested) OEM original CDR-210 for volume control and FM/AM radio selection.

Many of today's available aftermarket DSP modules can and do provide seamless integration to vintage radio systems.
