Muffler experts- need help ID these cans
I found a pair of aftermarket stainless steel mufflers that came off of a 95 993 coupe. The mufflers are made of stainless steel. There is a rectangular section that looks like an emblem was there at one point. Does anyone know who the manufacturer is?

Is Billy Boat the same company as B&B? What is the opinion on these? Thank you.

Hmm, Billy Boat supports are welded to the outside of the inlet pipe(s), these have the support welded to the inside.
Perhaps a tape measure across the mufflers would help identify their origin; assuming they are not stamped anywhere.
FWIW, I'm thinking possibly early Fabspeeds, as well.
If these mufflers could be modified into Fister III's, that would not be a bad core price having them drop shipped directly FD motorsports for conversion!

No identification anywhere. I tried to ID them using google images of cans from different manufacturers and can't find an exact match...
Darin at FDM thinks they are B&B... says he can upgrade them to Fister IIIs using them as cores.
I have Gillette OEM tips, so is there a way to mount these Gillette OEM tips to the Bischoff interface?

They look like B&B. My car came with them, found the drone miserable. Also came with B&B headers. Sent cans to Darin, converted to Fister III's, can't do II's with these donors.
Spectacular result. No complaints. FD is a marvelous group.
Each muffler loses pounds in weight, come back looking new. Sounds of III's are spectacular- loud for some- Ha ha!

Thanks guys on the gilette to bischoff tips.
So, I am really looking for Fister cans. Contemplating on upgrading my OEMs to Stage 2s originally. How loud are the Stage 3s? Hard to tell from the youtube videos as they both sound awesome and loud...
I will be doing some commute so 60mph cruising drone is a non starter for me, but don't care how loud on twisties and fun drives.

I had the same concerns as well. I have never heard any of the fister exhausts in person and was worried that it might be too loud. I eventually ended up deciding on the IIIs. I was initially surprised the IIIs are not as loud as I expect. Its loud when you want it to be such as during spirited driving and WOT. No drones and actually pretty tame when cruising around even in my cab with the top down. I'm really happy with them.

IMHO, those cans aren't early FABSPEED. I don't think they had the diagonal support brackets that these show. As for the Fister 3's, we absolutely love them on the C2S. At steady speed in 6th on the highway, they don't drone and, if you're so inclined, you can listen to the radio. When you fire up for a cold start, if you don't grin, check your pulse, 'cause you may be dead. Going up through the gears, they make your car sound absolutely "orgasmic"!
