Default Kansas City

Well, it appears I'll be moving to KC in the very near future. I'd very much appreciate any local knowledge on what shops are the 'go to' places to have air cooled work done.

Also, any commentary on what the Porsche scene looks like would be great.

Thanks!

Don't go to the place that crashed the Rennlister's GT3RS after a joy ride.

We have a very active club. Great cars and great people. Check out www.kcrpca.org to get a feel for the club. Go see Karl at Rennsportkc. Can't say enough great things about him.

Thanks for the input!

I'll be landing end of this week and am looking forward to exploring the area. Now, if I could only find a place to live.

Pm me if interested with details of where you will be working and other things you are looking for and we can discuss offline.

I used John Clark of Clark Collision (Clark Motorsports) for all of my air-cooled Porsches. In fact, he still services my cars even though we moved out to Colorado. He is incredibly meticulous and I have not found anyone who knows air-cooled Porsches better.

Good Luck in KC - Nice City!
