Well, it appears I'll be moving to KC in the very near future. I'd very much appreciate any local knowledge on what shops are the 'go to' places to have air cooled work done.
Also, any commentary on what the Porsche scene looks like would be great.

I'll be landing end of this week and am looking forward to exploring the area. Now, if I could only find a place to live.

I used John Clark of Clark Collision (Clark Motorsports) for all of my air-cooled Porsches. In fact, he still services my cars even though we moved out to Colorado. He is incredibly meticulous and I have not found anyone who knows air-cooled Porsches better.
