500 hp, 4.0 l Flat 6 from Singer
Wow!
I'm sure this will set someone back a few dollars... http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars...lliams-engine/ |
Yeah I just saw that today as well. I find it strange that singer would design the intake system to breach the firewall by running the intake through the passenger compartment, it looks really cool though. That new fan design looks huge!!!

so they haven't actually made it yet it seems.

Good point about the intake routed to the interior space. One of the benefits you probably missed is that it's a great fart sucker. However, once you shut off the engine, the back flow of heat and combustion gas might be offset that benefit.
|
Wait, I take that back. The intake is merged with the quarter windows - see the side vent contour? It's not too well depicted in the photo.
Now is my chance to patent my VFS (vehicle fart sucker) before the automakers. |

Uh, wow.....I knew that liquid cooling was a passing fad. This proves it.

"A modified version of a Mezger design"
My question: I this a Porsche engine at all, based on an donated old engine from a 964 or or 993? Or is it an entierly new engine? I prefer to have a Porsche engine in my Porsche but maybe that's just me?! |

500hp for a million bucks?
Must be the worst hp/$ ratio in history. |

Look closer, I'm seeing some type of billet pump on the left bank. I'm guessing water cooled heads.

That engine may be a flat 6 air-cooler, but it looks like a bad ass machined, exotic motor! no doubt these go for high 6 , low 7 figures.
