New Shoes (finally)
#16
After lusting over a set of BBS e88's for years, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a set to replace my Kinesis 3-Piece Supercups. Let me know what you guys think!
and for those of you asking, the Kinesis 3-Piece Supercups may become available in the near future, but they are currently pending to a buddy of mine that just recently picked up a 993 C2 after I put them back to NB-spec.

i'm curious, why do people refer to wheels / tyres as "shoes"?
cheers

because "shoes" and the rubber on the bottom is what keeps your feet/legs, (i.e, what allows you to move) in contact/connected to the ground, the same way wheels and tires are the only thing that literally connect the car to the road. depending on the sport, athletic shoes can increase or diminish one's performance. football cleats won't work on a track like a spiked track shoe. hence the analogy for shoes.

Thanks! Yes, they were custom spec'd with calculated offsets. They were actually a bit off (due to my miscalculation) and I ended up having to order a new pair of lips to make the wheels fit properly. They are still a bit aggressive, but they do not rub and I prefer the beefy stance of the wheel/tire setup.
