Thumbs up Repainting the spoiler grill - The BEST $5 DIY.

I was admiring my second coat of Rejex on my fully detailed car, and I couldn't help but notice the heinous, faded, splochy plastic grille at the rear. I mean hideous. It ruined the look of my rear end, but I can't afford to buy the big dolla split grille. So, while pondering, I realized I had a can of Gloss Black Krylon Fusion paint to paint a few pieces on my Jeep project (supposedly bonds to plastic, no sanding required and has held up on the project so far). It's so simple; hopefully it will hold up.

1. Make sure the grille is clean.
2. Get an old sheet to cover the top of the car.
3. Mask the area around the grille--DON'T USE CHEAP TAPE! I use 3M and love it. Get some masking paper and cover every exposed panel near the area within reason.
4. Put a fan at the front of the car so the overspray blows away over the back of the car.
5. Make sure to mask the engine compartment also!
6. Spray LIGHT coats, slowly making the paint flow together.

Here are the results!

Notice the light was at a terrible angle to my garage when the masked picture was taken, so I added another older picture of the grille (the last picture).
