Well on the plus side I really like the seats....
Unfortunately other than that the dash and center console are a disaster for me. Maybe with different colors and options it will be improved but ugh... I really wanted this to turn out better inside because I'm actually a fan of the exterior.

in the video I love how Webber is like "the gear selector is very very DIFFERENT" ... lol... pretty sure he agrees with the forum when it comes to the nubbin.

You still haven’t answered the question: why, specifically, would you need it to be at-hand while you are driving?

Serious question. Windshield or A-pillar mount for use as a NAV device I get.

But an under-the-right-arm mount I don’t get.

Is this so that you can check your text messages at stop lights?
AC vent magnetic mount. That's my current setup for nav.

I hate keeping my phone in my pocket while I drive. Its not comfortable. Having an easy spot to drop it in and grab it if you need it is a good thing in my book. But then again. I love a good big gulp when I'm on a long drive so I'm already a heretic around these parts.

While I can't speak for Cautery, I can tell you why I'd like to have a convenient place to stash my phone. I don't mount my phone because I use voice control for calls and don't need to see the screen for navigation or other apps. I hate driving with it in my pocket because it's uncomfortable, and if I stop somewhere and need to grab it I'd have to unbuckle my seatbelt and dig it out of my pocket. Of course, I could always start wearing baggy, pleated dad khakis which would make it much easier. Right now, I tend to keep it in the door pocket.

About $900 fine up here for touching your phone unless car is pulled over and in park/brake on with flashers going. Good law IMO.

We have a law like that here as well. Just like left lane camping laws I doubt it ever gets enforced.

Well, the silver lining for those that like it is that all you "purists" won't be buying them, so demand will be low and prices can be negotiated.

I spend 50% of my work time while driving and, I know it’s not a good behaviour, but it happen to use the phone and on the 991.2 there was no place to put it anywhere!

(ok, sometime i also text and instagram)

More similar to the S5 than anything. But there are enough differences.

I like them.
