991 Turbo model rear flares were always wider than the "wide body" 991 Carrera models (ie. 4wd and GT models).
All 992 Carreras are like the old 991 "wide bodies" and the 992 Turbo in the picture has yet wider flares.

They were. And lotus people knew weights down to the gram. I am seriously considering carpet delete, radio delete, and the CF door panels, but the car gets mad when you remove door airbags.
I do put my money where my mouth is. Set aside the air cooled, lotus and Land Rover addictions. A couple years ago I bought a 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual tacoma. Utility package (rear seat delete, black plastic, no rear slider). I saw the writing on the wall that it was not long for this world, sure enough, 2018, no more 4 cylinder 5 speed and they all got the some fancy pedestrian/accident avoidance cruise control abomination. Thats crazy to me because Toyota trucks were the 4 banger manual. And the 2.7 is like the last non-direct injection NA engine sold. The drivetrain is a 25 plus year old design and is pretty much indestructible. Hopefully the 4.0 in the GT3 is 1/4 as durable. And hopefully Porsche keeps the 992 GT3 as pure as it can be.

Regarding red this might be Carmine & Guards Red? Or just some photo filter on the first image.
