I know everyone is pretty concerned about the third brake light but after seeing a mule up close, you can tell this is one part they haven’t shown the final version of just yet and it should be fine upon official launch.

I just love the new look of the 911. Fresh and new, and it will be a blast once again. Sure, the .2 itteration will bring a big upgrade. I really like the new interior compared to the 991.2.

Can someone please tell me what is SO AMAZING about the third brake that has caused them to keep it covered through the entire development / testing cycle? If anything they should have kept the door handles covered as that would be considered far more revolutionary then whatever they could possibly do with a brake light.

If I had to guess the final design didn't have DOT sign off to go on the test fleet so they had to use something similar that already had the approval?

I like that exhaust config. You could run stubs of pipe straight from the cats to atmo. Probably save 20 pounds from the rear of the car.

Meh, can't agree, but opinions are like...

Front bumper looks weak and the front fender flares look wacky. Still not feeling this car at all.

Here's the issue. Very clear from the above picture. Nice organic shapes of fenders, but a narrow, square, and pointy front end and squarish mirrors. The two are fighting each other. It's like you take an existing model but essentially only changing the rear and front with a different design philosophy than the 991 was designed for. The two competing against each other. Makes for a hot mess.

The sports side mirrors on the 991.2 are so much better even if they dont power fold.
