It doesn't look like the Panamera beyond some design cues. Just be thankful that the design cues come the current Panamera and not the abomination that was the first generation.

A few days ago I saw a black Panamera and rushed up to it because I mistook it for another 992 mule... These cars look very similar in person, especially in dark colors.
The 992 is basically a Panamera coupe. This should come as no surprise because this design logic is straight out of the Audi/VW playbook.
The only 992 I will consider is a GT car since there should hopefully be enough changes to clearly distinguish if from the rest of the lineup.
I’m excited to see the 992 launch but I won’t be a Carrera buyer this time around. Just bought a 991 GT3 and will drive that happily until the 992 GT3 is available for order.

Except for the nubbin, I'm not too concerned that there are any really disastrous issues with the 992.
I'm a little concerned, however, about that taped-on 3rd brake light on so many mules. I'm hoping there won't anything so goofy in the final product and that it's just silly camo. Are there any photos where there isn't something like that in that position?
This shot has a different brake light, but it also appears it might have an integrated brake light or reflector inside the clam spoiler - not sure how to interpret that unless it's because it would block an actual goofy 3rd brake light when in the up position...

I know everyone is pretty concerned about the third brake light but after seeing a mule up close, you can tell this is one part they haven’t shown the final version of just yet and it should be fine upon official launch.

Thanks! No interior pics?

Reg the insta-pics above: Isn't that an unususal perspective from which all pictures are taken...? Basically the snapper must've crouched down...
Or is it in fact (again) an orchestrated "spy-shoot" with the purpose of increase interest and perhaps also getting perspective customers to wait until car is released, instead of choosing another brand? Since it seems the current modelrange is heavily decimated due to different homolgation procedures, production run-out etc...

Interesting point about "spy-shoot". Would seem that way. Photos of different colours and specs have been constantly leaked on Insta where they go viral. Seems like a strategy rather than carelessness. Models are depleted and in some countries (eg Australia) you haven't been able to order a production slot car for many months. The dealers basically have no stock of 911s except a few Ts.

Exactly. Thinking more about it, it does make sense. Different exterior colors, in general high quality pictures, cars extremely lightly camoflagued, almost never any interior pictures, etc, etc. If a "normal" person (civilian) took those pics, why on earth wouldn't the same person take some pics of the interior and post those on Insta...?
