Maybe they'll take priorities from the CRX too, and make this the most tossable water cooled 911 yet.

As much as I’m not a fan of the new look, with that white car I think one can see where Porsche is headed and maybe understand why. They’re pulling the 911 into the 21st century and giving it a more modern futuristic look. I’d be willing to bet the 992 styling is intended to be a middle point on the road to a much more futurustic looking car complete with a hybrid power train. Porsche is changing the look across the model lineup to give it a more modern signature and I think these models are likely just a waypoint on a much bigger transition. Makes me sad on one hand, but such is life. Change is the only constant.

Taking cats off to make a car sound moderately palatable in my opinion is whack for many reasons, one being that your brand new 911 will smell like a 1970’s pickup truck (nothing says refinement like inhaling excess carbon) and the other being helping destroy the planet for a few HP and a sound that still gets stomped on by a 1999 Carrera C2.
Spare us; I hope you buy credits for every flight you take!

You're right; not only that, we're on a sinking ship either way with 7.5 billion people.

I'm wondering why we haven't seen a leak of a 992 Targa yet. I know historically it hasn't been part of the initial model release but I'm surprised there hasn't been a test mule spotted so far.

I think that's right. The look is already growing on me - once the rest of the camo comes off, I think it might look pretty good.

Echoes of the Mission E prototype in the rear view of that white one above.

I would agree,....to me it looks pretty darn good in that color/angle,.....now why they can't seem to do something with that 3rd brake light (just do what was done in the 991) and make it a little more presentable with the spoiler up is still beyond me.

Just noticed, no XM antenna bump in any of the shots I've seen, maybe combined third brake light and XM?

Considering it’s the size of a shoe box but then... engineers...

Looks like it's already been hit once or twice.

Back to the very roots, squeezed vintage vw beetle, probably not the best angle here.

992 looks great! I love the new front and the back. Side looks the same.

Hood creases and fender flares are very cool.
