That was accurate!

Honestly though, the sound of the .2 isn't BAD. It's just muted and that's due to the very poor log manifold design whereas the NA variant has an actual real header.

Changing out the header and/or your catalytic converters will do wonders in terms of engine pulses. No self brag here but the header/bypass pipe combo with stock PSE on my .2 sounds orgasmic. Video doesn't do justice.

THIS is what we're dealing with in the 991.2 and I bet you anything we will see a true header design in the 992

Forgot about this pic that has third brake light. I think this may be it. Two light strips between louvers. Not a good look. A more integrated light would look better as previously mentioned.

Those rear slats remind me a little bit of the 991 turbo s.

I'd prefer the new car without the integrated Porsche logo and with a horizontal brake light.

My guess is that there will be some option for blacked out PORSCHE and model designation. That may fix it.

The car is shaping up. I would change a few things but ....

The car will be a sales success overall. Will surpass 991 sales #'s.

I think it looks good. Once it is fully revealed, I think it will be well received.

My main concern is the much wider rear spoiler. I think owners of 992s will be less likely to photograph their cars with the rear spoiler in the raised position!

Maybe that’s why they did it, they felt like people think Porsches are unreliable when they’re driving around looking like the spoilers are broken all the time.

That could be true!

Personally I MUCH prefer the look of my 991 with the rear spoiler down.

991.1 + Ducktail = Best current gen spoiler option IMO.

Really hoping the 992 allows for a ducktail option. Sucks that you can't have one on the 991.2.

Agreed. I had a ducktail retro-fitted to my 991.1 C2.

Sadly, I doubt that a ducktail will re-appear as an option on the 992.

Whoa whoa whoa ! That third brake light is obviously camouflaged. So is much of the upper rear around the center light strip. Look at the new Macan interior. They are not going to put an electric razor shifter in the 911, and leave the new interior of the Macan with a 911-ish shifter.

I’m really hoping that the third brake light does not look like that. Unfortunately, I think the yellow one may be a reality.

Hoping for this one.

The Macan has to have a center tunnel because of the front engine. No need for such a massive console tunnel in a 992 except if they're going for some sort of design consistency. But I bet you're right and they end up very similar...
