I've got a Honda Hybrid with a six speed stick. If Honda can do it, so can Porsche!

Doable? Yes, but it's an exercise in confliction, and will never function as well as an MT gasser, or an automatic hybrid.

The two systems just don't interact cohesively.

Re styling:
Looks to me like same greenhouse, wider fenders front and rear, front hood-bumpercap cut and tail lights with more horizontal lines that emphasize the width.

Re hybrid engine/motor transmission integration:
For me, based on flogging a Panamera Turbo S Hybrid Grand Tourismo around a racetrack I found that thoughts of manually changing gears are overcome by the wonderful seamless intense push in the back from the additional torque of the electric motor .

I wish they’d taken another pic with the cars switched. From this pic, the 992 looks shorter, wider, and the headlights a little more bug-eyed. Not necessarily a bad thing. Bigger wheels on the 992 distort the apparent wheelbase. Dunno, I kind of like the looks of it.

Just noticed this. Is this a reflection or part of the camouflage? Can't imaging that it's a real plug-in door.

Whoa a hybrid 911? I wonder where the batteries will go. No more rear seats?

Possible. As long as the engine moved to the front to swap places.

The greenhouse does look similar and I can see what you mean in regards to several exterior parts looking like identical parts to the 991. But I’m about positive the new greenhouse is smaller. I could very well be wrong, but in even solo pictures, it seems like the belt line is slightly higher.

It is. Compare the size of the rear side window. Looking at that alone makes it more obvious.

Huh? A line is a circle?

I think it is much more likely that Porsche put that line (circle lol) on there to cause speculation, hype and feedback on these forums.

Most of these mule pictures are staged in some way.

This is obviously a staged shot of the mule for hybrid 911. They want to get some early reaction to the architecture: front-engined turbocharged flat-2, with electric motor, fuel tank, and batteries in the rear to maintain the 911’s rear weight bias.

A BMW sourced inline 3 behind the rear axle, making 195HP.

It's the new 912.
