Wow! If I could get a GT3 over here for just $10k over list price I would be awaiting one now instead of my T.
Very difficult to get a new one over here. Recently saw a new one on 300 miles at an independent dealer asking £56k over the list price.

My first ever Ferrari drive was while I was an engineering student in the 80s. Conned my way (long story) into appearing to be a rich kid who's dad was shopping for him (had to play both parts on the phone the week before.) Anyway, It was a dark blue/camel 246GT with a balky 2nd gear synchro, listed for $22,000. They may as well have been asking $22MM. But oh, what a glorious afternoon it was. Later that day on the way back to the dorm I stopped at Northlake Porsche+Audi and drove my first Porsche, a used 80 or 81 SC. I was still giddy from the 246 so the Porsche seemed like a distant second in passion.
Interestingly, I hatched a plot a couple years ago to buy one of the 400-and-some 2.4 litre Fiat Spyders; the good ones were going for the sixties, which seemed like all the money to me, but they're such beautiful and rare cars, and oh, that motor, that it seemed to make some sense. But being as you can't just run down to the local Used Italian demi-exotics store and test drive one, I sort of let the goal peter out. I rekindled my interest last month and started looking again -- the good ones are asking a buck and a half now! Man, that was quick!

The legendary classics I mentioned aside of course because everyone knows those will always be thhe best looking.

The 360 would have made a great looking Mitsubishi, but it made a crappy looking Ferrari. The F355 was a tough act to follow.

Either way, the 360 was offered with a stick, which automatically makes it cooler than its autotragic successors.
Pun absolutely intended.

The 991.2 is design perfection for me. It is the chiseled version of the 991 range. Athletic and beautiful at the same time. The new rear might as well be 991.3 as others have stated. Not so crazy that I have strong opinions.

I really dislike how they are now merging the designs across models, the front bumper looks identical to the new Panamera. I am astounded as to why Porsche is doing this to their mythical 911, why not leave it unique and have its own design as THE marquee sports car??? They want to be Benz/Audi/BMW?? Yikes...
When the Ford Fusion came out, I remember thinking how good it looked for a boring sedan. Then they decide they had to change it up by slapping unified design features from other models on, like the big chrome strip across the back. Now it’s a much worse looking car for absolutely no reason.

Now that the 992 forum is open, maybe this thread should be moved there?

The unified design language thing is ridiculous. In the best case you have some design features that work well on some types of cars but look a little bit out of place on some models. In the worst case (i.e. Lexus grill) you make your whole lineup look terrible.
