Yeah that one is been floating around. A lot wrong with it. Front and rear bumper, even the door handles are wrong. I wish that guy would do a new one now though based off the leaked image.

If this is close to how the exterior executes I'm not a hater. Hope for the best on the interior.

I like the a/c vents it harkens back to the original 911!

Yeah, I actually thought the entire top layout reminded me of the original, upright dash.

There was enough of a schizophrenic like look in these photos to make me worried but I also know its not done so at this moment I am willing to be patient.
I'm definitely not CONCERNED as there is nothing I can do about it and I'm sure the 911 will live on. Screens appear to be the future. Love my 991.2 screen. Virtually every time a new model comes out there is hate which ultimately turns to love. I remember when the 911 was dead with the introduction of water cooling.....Some say PDK is evil in sports car and some say we need more cupholders. I guess its good that there is lots of passion and its only discussion , just find it interesting how concerned some are. To each his own and fun to read.
That cup holder is probably removeable.....

Maybe it is just me or a huge coincidence but I am convinced that Porsche did exactly what you asked for......3 days later with a camo 992. I know for a fact that they read these forums.....and are laughing their a$$es off or giving another "eye roll" most of the time.

Is a zebra 992 enough of a shock for ya? LMAO and ROFL.

Bad angles, bad lighting, distractions, wrong wheels, camo, etc.

Too early to make much of a judgement. I too see some things I am not sure I like, but when was ever not the case with a new 911? Its following is at once the most staunchly conservative when it comes to cars and the hardest to please. Which is a good thing.

Stout, you're a journalist; answer me this one. Why is it that only conservatives (be it in matters automotive or political or religious) are "staunch" in their attitudes according to reporters? The word itself just means firmly devoted to an idea. It's a totally agnostic word. But I don't think I've ever heard of anyone described as "staunchly liberal in their thinking."

Staunch and its various derivatives is a good, solid word. It should be spread around more for all to enjoy.

Oh, and I don't care for any of these renderings, inside or out. Just like I didn't care for the 991 when I first saw it. Staunchly.

The break (dash point) between the rounded covered gauge cluster and rectangular screen is horrid,....looks so cheap in every way. Certainly they can do better.

Ha, I take care never to call myself a journalist—as I think that's a calling, and a high calling at that. Not sure people who write about cars deserve to be credited (or denigrated?) with that title. I'm just an editor or automotive writer...

In any event, you are right: the, to my mind, is a form of "very" well applied to various nouns. And yes, we should spread it around for all to enjoy. Then again, I wish we could get away from polarity on so many topics (other than cars, of course )

I just wish we could find some who are staunchly devoted to normally aspirated engines...

Ha. On this highly political topic, I am truly moderate. My only leaning is towards what is good.

In the NA camp, CGT, RS 4.0, Sharkwerks 3.9, 997.2 GTS, 996 3.4, 981 GTS, 991.1 GTS, 991 GT3/R/RS, 986 2.5, first Panamera GTS, 911 2.2, and many others come to mind.
In the FI camp, Ruf Yellow Bird, 991.2 Carrera/S/GTS, modern 500 Abarth, Ruf CTR3/RT12R, GTI 2.0T, and few others come to mind.
