The color of your car is incredible, too! Every time I see your avatar!

Say what you will about the headlights, but the ever increasing size of these cars make the tiny, lithe 996 much more appealing.

I hope this is not it.
I dont think any manuf can/would sell blacked out lenses like these as OEM. Think this is just a 991.2 c4S.

Same. First 991 I saw I thought to myself, well Porsche finally got back to building simple beautiful cars with flow and balance to the design. I had not been interested in a 911 since the 993, but the 991 brought me back in the fold. IMO, the 991.1 is the best looking Porsche of the last 30 years. The 992 looks like it's gonna be a step back into 996 style, it kinda looks a little like a 911 land.

And I agree that the 991 is the most beautiful gen since the 993 in my opinion, both exterior & interior. For some reason I can't forget the first time I saw the launch 991 in black at my local dealer in 2012, it was captivating/stunning in person

My eyes just don't see a 991.2. Even the rear spoiler seams are in different locations from this 991.2 C4S for comparison.

Except for the ugly yellow I love it. Glad I passed on the 991.2 and waited for the 992. Quad exhausts in the S is the way it was meant to be.

Thanks man! I still pinch myself via being lucky enough to score an Aqua Blue!

Not crazy about 996 headlights, but believe it or not, I always loved the 996! Think it looks very modern/timeless and great to this day. Sans the headlights to some degree.

Indeed. The 993 is a stunner (all air cooled 911’s are really), but the 991 is the perfect current culmination of the 911 lineage. Porsche did an absolutely perfect job with it, imo.

I can't stand the billboard vertical PORSCHE logo. Will be the SAME across all Porsche models. Yuck.

Looks dumb when the model will be below floating instead of one cohesive badge.

The 911 has officially been whored out. It's just being morphed into a mainstream car to cross sell all the other models which really makes them $$ and will fuel growth. Sports cars are becoming a smaller piece of the business every year. Porsche is getting bigger and moving in the same direction as the other big German car companies.

I still think its really early and with only one view very hard to tell if its love or not. I do like the big hips though.

Unfortunately I have been around long enough and have been driving these cars long enough to know that this is all a dance until we see what the real car looks like and what the performance numbers are. A tail light here, a head light there doesn't matter if it doesn't drive like a Porsche. I even had 2 996 TT's and they were awesome performance cars and I was never embarrassed to drive them.

It's still fun to look at the pictures though and listen to the Rennlist community bitch and complain that they won't buy one because it doesn't look like a 993 or the tail light is too square.

Audi has some exciting products like the A5 Sportback, and A7, but their sedans are also quite similar. Truthfully, with the German sedans so bland, you may as well go Japanese and get reliability.
EVERYTHING comes with a 2.0T now. Merc, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, Caddy....

Maybe you'll have the very first 992 in North America. Just like you had the very first 50th in NA. Ohhhhhh, Snap, wait a minute.
