Heh... moscow mules may complicate the aero a bit.

I get that it's functional and helps performance, especially on supercars, but the cars look just like you said, broken.
Agree but the one on the 911 Turbo looks great.

Looks like an evolved 991, with retro references in the hood, and with larger diameter rear wheels than front. The flares are sweet. Looks like all grip n go for the new understructure and what must he boost in HP to stay competitive with its rivals. I'd guess the weight distribution is improved too.

I hope that larger spoiler is a significant aero improvement, because it does nothing good to the rear look when deployed. A Panamera Turbo sort of spoiler should be an option.

Yes, I get that. Just keeping it simple.

Lift goes up, downforce goes, well, down.

But yes, the downforce is the result of lift being generated by an inverted aerofoil and it's alpha, angle of attack, chord and NACA shape and everything else about it.

I'm not an engineer, but am an aviator, so while I don't know how to calculate the lift force and exact AOA numbers impact, I do know the practical impacts of all of the above! And for us simple aviators, lift=up, downforce<>up.

I like those shots,....you can definitely see the wider front and rear fenders,....but the wheels are now tucked too far inside, gotta do something about that. (I'm sure they will,.....$600 spacers )

If they can just ditch that abomination of a rear spoiler, then there is nothing I don't like.

As a C2 owner, I almost feel bad for those new fenders with how much of rock magnets they’ll be. Though the stone guards do a great job of protecting, there’s still plenty of exposed area. The 991 fenders in RWD form are already quite wide. I remember when the 991 came out, a picture of a 991 C2 and 997 C4 surfaced, and the 991 hips were wider. We may see the same thing here, with the 992 C2 having as wide as or wider hips than the 991 C4.

Sounds the same as the 991.2 from the videos I’ve seen. I’d be surprised if there were many changes in the engine compartment.

Yes the Turbo wing does looks great, but it's different from the others I mentioned as it doesn't 'disappear' when it's in its down position.
